Ordering
How do I place my order?
You can order online through this website or directly with your local Euronics store. If you choose to place your order online, once your payment has been authorised you will receive email confirmation acknowledging that your order has been received. If you have a customer account, you can log in to 'My Account' and view your order history.
How do I know the item will fit?
We strongly recommend that you measure the space for your new appliance before placing an order. You should find the full dimensions for our products listed in the specifications on the website. It is important to note that item dimensions don't include any protruding features, such as controls and handles, and represent the casing of the item only.
Can I cancel my order if I no longer require the product prior to delivery?
If you wish to cancel your order this will need to be done by 12pm the working day prior to your delivery date or delivery will be made.
Can I cancel my order after delivery has taken place?
You may cancel the contract at any time without any reason within a 14-working day 'cooling-off' period, beginning the day after you receive the product. To cancel a contract, you must inform the Euronics store who delivered to you or the Customer Care team at Euronics in writing, through email who will talk you through the returns process.
Will I receive the exact model shown?
Images of the items shown on our website are for illustrative purposes only. Whilst we try to ensure all images and colours are correct, we can't guarantee that all the images will accurately reflect the true design and colour of the item delivered to you. Please be aware that colours may differ between manufacturers. Whilst every effort has been made to ensure that item specifications are correct on the website, due to continual item development through research and design, specifications may change without notice.
Payment
What payment methods can I use?
We accept payments from most major credit cards and debit cards. All payments must be in UK Pounds Sterling. Payment through our website can only be made from the UK, the website will not allow orders to be placed from outside of the UK.
Installation and Disposal
Will my appliance be installed and connected?
If you have opted for installation when placing your order, your Euronics store will connect the product to the appropriate services, however you must ensure you have the correct services available. We would like to advise that installation and disposal services may vary within local areas. Your Euronics store will inspect the services on arrival and advise of any potential issues prior to carrying out the installation. Neither Euronics or our stores are obliged to provide any alterations or additional equipment of any kind, especially involving carpentry. All existing appliances must be disconnected and water free, where applicable, prior to delivery of your new appliance. Your Euronics store will remove all the packaging and ensure it is disposed of in an ethical manner. Consumer Electronics connection is 'plug & play' setup on LCD, LED, UHD, QLED and OLED using existing connections, wall mounting, and aerial installation are not available. For installation and connection and disposal charges of plumbed fridge freezers and any 'American Style' side by side fridge freezers, plumbed or non-plumbed, please contact your local Euronics store for a price.
Will you dispose of my old appliance?
If you have requested disposal of an old appliance when placing your order the Euronics store will do this and dispose of it ethically and in line with current legislation.
Delivery
When will my item be delivered?
You can select a preferred delivery date at the point of placing your order. Your local Euronics store will then contact you to confirm a definitive delivery date. Please note delivery times quoted may be delayed due to adverse conditions such as Weather, Covid and Brexit. If you are purchasing a small domestic appliance this can be delivered to your home via courier for an additional charge or you can collect it from your local store. Larger items will be delivered by your local Euronics store as stated above. Please note courier delivery is only currently available to mainland UK.
How much will delivery cost?
We offer free standard delivery to the UK and Northern Ireland. Standard delivery means no more than 3 steps up to the front door, you will need to inform your local Euronics store if there are potential access problems or stairs to flats that need to be considered. An additional charge will be made if you have chosen to have a small domestic appliance delivered directly to your home by courier.
Do I need to be in for my delivery?
You do not have to be there in person, but we can only allow the goods to be signed for by an adult at the delivery address with all the appropriate identification. To help us protect you, the Euronics store delivering your appliance may ask for photographic proof of identity, such as a photo driving license or passport. If you have purchased your product without any services \(such as installation and disposal of your old appliance\), it can be left in a designated area but this must be confirmed with your local Euronics store prior to delivery and will be at your own risk. You should closely inspect the product upon delivery for any cosmetic defects before signing the delivery receipt, damaged products should not be accepted. When a pre-arranged and agreed delivery day and/or time has been given and that delivery fails because there is nobody at the address to sign for the product you may be liable for a failed delivery charge.
Can I change my delivery date?
You can contact the store that has been allocated your order to see if they are able to reschedule your delivery, or you can contact our Customer Care team on 01264 320504 or at customersupport@euronics.co.uk and they can contact the store on your behalf, this will be entirely dependent on the delivery schedule of the store and their available dates.
Who will deliver my order?
If you have purchased a small domestic appliance under £150 it will be delivered by courier, if you have purchased a larger or more expensive appliance, over £150, it will be delivered by your local Euronics store.
What do I need to do before my delivery arrives?
If you have requested installation, all existing appliances must be disconnected, un-installed and water free, where applicable. You will need to ensure that you have the correct utilities and fittings in place for the new appliance to be installed.
Where do you deliver to?
UK and Northern Ireland.
Can I cancel my order before delivery?
If you wish to cancel your order this will need to be done by 12pm the working day prior to your delivery date Monday-Friday or delivery will be made. To cancel your order as a registered customer, log in to 'My Account' and click on 'Orders', you can select the relevant order number and request cancellation online. If you have placed an order as a guest, you will need to call your local Euronics store nominated when you placed the order. All details should be available on your email confirmation. You can also contact our Customer Care team on 01264 320504 or at customersupport@euronics.co.uk from Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.
Where can I get a delivery update?
If you contact the local store who have been assigned your order they will be able to give you an update on your delivery.
Returns
Can I return an item I no longer want after delivery?
If you are not happy with your product and wish to cancel the contract within the 14 working day cooling off period, we can arrange to collect the item however additional costs may apply. Please see full details of how to do this on our ‘Returns & Cancellations’ section of the website.

Faulty Products
What happens if I have a faulty product?
If you think your product may be faulty you will need to contact your local Euronics store who delivered the item to you, or the Customer Care team on 01264 320504 or at customersupport@euronics.co.uk who will initially look at resolving the issue. If you have had the product for over 30 days, you will need to contact your local Euronics store who delivered the item to you. Alternatively, you can either call or email the Customer Care team on the details above to arrange an engineer visit.

Cooking
Do I need a specific plug for my cooker?
All cookers should be fitted in accordance to the manufacturer’s instructions. Most integrated cookers come with plug tops, so are safe to plug into a 13A standard socket. If you're unsure, contact a registered electrician.
How do self-cleaning ovens work?
There are two types of self-cleaning ovens. Pyrolytic ovens use high temperatures to burn off leftovers. Catalytic ovens absorb grease and fat in a chemically-treated lining. But, you'll still need to wipe down your oven occasionally.
What is a range cooker?
A range cooker features both a stove and an oven.
What is the difference between 'built-in' and 'built-under' ovens?
Built-under ovens are designed to fit under a kitchen worktop. Built-in ovens are fitted into unit, normally at eye level.
What is the difference between ‘conventional’, ’fan’ and ‘multi-function’ ovens?
A conventional oven usually heats up with a stationary heat source, but fan ovens circulate heat evenly and can cook your food faster. Multi-function ovens combine a range of cooking options – a great choice if you want more flexibility.
What is the difference between 'double ovens' and 'twin cavity ovens'?
Double ovens have two oven cavities and no grill. Twin cavity ovens generally have a grill compartment at the top and an oven compartment at the bottom.
What oven capacity do I need?
Oven capacity is measured in litres, normally ranging from 60- 110 litres. A larger oven will give you flexibility and space for larger dinners. Smaller ovens are ideal for kitchens with limited space.
What oven features should I look for?
Every model has a range of features, but what you should go for depends on your needs, e.g. adjustable oven racks let you alter the oven space to suit what you're cooking, and warming drawers allow you to keep food hot or prove dough.
What oven safety features should I look for?
Most cookers come with built-in safety features, such as auto safety shutoff, child locks, flame failure devices and residual heat indicators.
What type of cooker should I buy?
There are three main types of cookers: gas, electric and dual fuel gas hob and electric oven. The one you choose depends on your needs, personal style and size of space.
Will my grill reach different temperatures?
Many grills have variable heat options. A conventional grill has full or half-grill heat settings.
Will my oven have timer options?
Most models come with auto timers and acoustic alarms to let you know when your food is ready. It’s best to check the cooker’s description before you buy.
Do I need to light my own burners?
Some gas hobs require lighting, but most have an automatic ignition feature, so the burners will spark themselves.
Do I need to wire up my hob?
‘Plug and Play’ hobs can be plugged straight into a standard UK socket, so hardwiring isn't needed. We recommend seeking professional help when installing any other hob.
How do induction hobs work?
An induction hob heats up your pans directly. It creates a magnetic field between the induction element and the base of your cookware.
How quickly will my electric hob heat up?
Electric hobs tend to heat up less quickly, but a ‘Power Boost’ feature will increase the power as much as 50 percent.
Should I choose a ceramic or conventional solid plate hob?
Ceramic hobs don't have raised areas for pans to sit, making them easier to clean. Solid plate hobs are cheaper, but not as efficient.
What does a glass lid do?
A glass lid can be lowered when the hob’s not in use. This gives you more room to prepare meals. When the lid is up, it acts as a natural splashback.
What hob features should I look for?
This depends on your personal needs, but a range of features are on the market such as automatic ignition, auto safety shut off, flame failure devices, FlexInduction and more.
What hob safety features should I look for?
Some gas hobs have auto shutoff features if the hob has been left on for too long, while flame fitted devices cut the gas supply if the flame goes out. Electric hob models can have residual heat indicators, which show whether the surface is still hot.
What if I prefer gas hobs but don't have a gas supply?
An LPG Liquid Petroleum Gas Conversion Kit can be installed so that your new oven can run on propane.
What is different about an induction hob?
An induction hob can heat cookware much faster, is often safer, and will turn off automatically when not in use. The smooth surface also makes it easy to clean.
What is the most energy efficient hob?
Induction hobs require less energy than gas or electric hobs, as no energy is wasted heating the cooking surface.
Do I need special pans for induction hobs?
Your pans will need magnetic bases with iron, so the hob can heat them effectively. To check if your current pans will work, simply put a magnet on to the bottom of your pan and if it sticks, they will be fine for induction hobs.
What size hob do I need?
Most hobs have four burners - suitable for most households. A five or six burner design may be better for larger families and often have a specialist wok burner. Domino hobs have just one or two burners, so are ideal for those with limited space.
What type of hob should I buy?
Gas hobs provide heat instantly, and their adjustable flames makes it easy to get the right temperature. Electric hobs are usually cheaper to buy and offer a sleeker, more attractive look.
Can I grill and/or fry food in a microwave?
Some microwaves offer grilling options, alongside the standard functions. If your model features ‘SLIM Fry’, you can even enjoy healthier fried foods from your microwave.
How quickly can a microwave cook food?
Generally, microwaves can cook food much faster than ovens – sometimes up to four times as quickly.
What can I cook in a microwave?
You can microwave a wide range of food, from eggs and jacket potatoes to vegetables and popcorn. Stirring halfway through will ensure food is heated evenly.
What is the difference between a turntable and flatbed microwave?
Most microwaves use a turntable to rotate your food for an even heat distribution. But, flatbed models are easier to clean.
What microwave capacity do I need?
Microwave capacities usually range from 17 to 40 litres, but built-in combi models can be as large as 65 litres. Larger models are more expensive, so choose a smaller option if you don't need the extra space.
What microwave power should I go for?
Models tend to start at 600 W and can go up to 1200 W. The higher the wattage, the quicker the cooking time. Many microwaves have variable temperature controls for a range of cooking options.
What should I avoid putting in my microwave?
Metal dishes and tin foil are not recommended as the waves bounce off the surface, causing sparking – and sometimes even fires. Plastic containers, Styrofoam and paper bags are also dangerous to use.
What type of microwave should I buy?
A combi microwave offers multiple cooking options, including a grill and convection heating. Solo microwaves are lower-cost, entry level-models, offering basic cooking functions.
How is a model's energy efficiency rated?
Energy efficiency is rated from G to A+, with A+ being the most efficient. It takes into account the energy consumption and the size of the appliance.
Should I go for a freestanding or built-in model?
Built-in models fit into your kitchen seamlessly if you want to save space. Freestanding models offer flexibility as they aren’t integrated into the kitchen unit.
What is the difference between net and gross capacity?
Net capacity is the total usable space, measured in litres. Gross capacity is the total space inside the appliance.
Which controls are better - touch controls or knobs and dials?
Touch controls give you precise control of heat and time settings, but can be costly to repair and don't usually feature on lower end models.
How can I tell if my gas hob has a leak?
The smell of gas is the most obvious sign of a leak. An orange or yellow flame on the burner also suggests there is a leak.
How do I clean my hob?
Use ceramic cream cleaners and a microfiber cloth to scrub away any marks on your hob. If you have a gas hob, remove the rings once cool and soak in warm, soapy water.
How do I clean my microwave?
There are lots of easy methods to clean your microwave. Try heating a bowl of equal parts water and vinegar, on your appliance's highest setting. Any marks should then wipe off easily.

Why is my appliance beeping?
Common causes for beeping are: preheating has finished, the timer has finished or the system has detected a problem. Try rebooting and unplugging the appliance, and if the beeping persists, contact your local electrician.
Why is my microwave sparking?
Metal fragments, food splatters and grease can create sparks. The microwave’s magnetron could also be faulty and may need replacing by an engineer.
Why is my oven food undercooked or burning?
This could be an oven thermostat issue, which normally controls the temperature. Replacements are available online.
Why is my oven smoking?
There may be stuck food or grease burning inside your oven. Cleaning product residue could also be causing smoke.

How much do dishwashers cost to run?
By reviewing energy costs of more than 150 dishwashers, Which? have found that the annual running costs range between £24 and £67 each year. This is just based on the amount of electricity the appliance will use and does not include the potential savings from more efficient water usage.
How much water does a dishwashers use?
On average, dishwashers use less water than hand washing. The exact amount of water a dishwasher uses per year is displayed on the energy label.
What can I clean in the dishwasher?

What capacity dishwasher do I need?
Both the size of your household and the available space in your kitchen will impact on the capacity that would best suit your needs. Dishwashers come in three main sizes, Compact/tabletop dishwashers have a capacity of 6 place settings and are ideal for an individual or couple without any spare cupboard space. Slimline dishwashers offer a larger capacity of 9-10 place settings at a width of just 45 cm, perfect for a small family with limited kitchen space. Full-size dishwashers vary in capacity from 12-16 place settings and are a standard 60 cm wide, making them ideal for medium to large households.
What is a place setting?
Dishwasher capacity is measured in the number of place settings the appliance can wash in a single load. A place settings consists of a dinner plate, dessert plate, single glass, soup bowl, tea cup with saucer, and an assortment of cutlery.
What is the difference between 'semi-integrated' and 'fully integrated' dishwashers?
A fully integrated dishwasher is built in to your kitchen cupboards, and is completely enclosed by it, with the control panel on the top of the appliance. A semi-integrated dishwasher still sits behind your cupboard door, but has a slot cut out at the top so you can see and operate the appliance whilst it remains behind the door.
What is the difference between freestanding and integrated dishwashers?
Freestanding dishwashers are the most common type and can be easily slotted into an empty space in your kitchen. They come in various colours and designs as the front of the appliance will be visible. Integrated dishwashers are built into a kitchen unit and have a cupboard door fixed on to the front of the appliance.

What does dishwasher salt do?
If you live in an area with hard water, your dishwasher may leave streaks and marks on your crockery. Dishwasher salt counters this by softening the water. Without getting too scientific, the salt reacts with minerals in the water, preventing a build-up of limescale. This leaves you with spotless items and also keeps the heating element and jets in the dishwasher working properly.
What does rinse aid do?
Rinse aid helps your dishes get dryer at the end of a cycle by letting water run off more easily. It can also help prevent water marks on glass. It’s not as expensive as the detergent, and is optional, so it probably won't affect your budget too much.
Why aren't my dishes coming out clean?
Dirty filters, clogged spray arms and overloaded baskets are the most common causes for dishes not coming out clean. Scraping excess food from your plates before loading them into the dishwasher, giving your dishwasher a thorough clean every couple of months and following the recommended loading layout, often found in the product manual, will help your dishes come out as clean as possible.

Which washing machines are the most energy efficient?
Machines with higher energy ratings such as A+++ being the highest save the most energy. Some models also come with additional programmes and features to reduce energy and water usage, such as Bosch VarioPerfect and Samsung EcoBubble.
How do I find out a machine's energy rating and water consumption?
All washing machines are required to have an EU energy label. This label highlights the energy efficiency, water consumption and other important information.
How quickly can a machine wash my clothes?
The time it takes depends on your selected programme. A quick wash programme can wash your clothes in around 15 to 30 minutes, while other settings can take longer.
What is the difference between 'freestanding' and 'integrated' washing machines?
A freestanding washing machine isn't connected to your kitchen units, so it can be placed anywhere with access to a drain and electrical socket. An integrated \(or built-in\) washing machine is designed to go behind a cupboard door as part of a kitchen unit.
What is the difference between 'front loading' and 'top loading' washing machines?
The doors on front loading models face forwards, while top loading machine doors open upwards. Front loading machines can be stacked, are more energy efficient and often have larger capacities than top loading models.
What features and programmes should I look for?
Every machine comes with a number of programmes – look out for those you’ll find most useful by considering your typical laundry, from garment to fabric type, plus any other requirements.
What spin speed do I need?
Faster spin speeds squeeze more water from your clothes, giving them a shorter drying time. The fastest spin speed is 1600 RPM, but few cycles use this speed. Lower spin speeds can be more suitable for delicate fabrics like silk.
Which washing machines are the quietest?
Machines under 50 dB are the quietest models. High-end appliances may feature brushless or quiet drive motors, as well as anti-vibration systems to reduce noise levels.
Will my washing machine be noisy?
EU energy labels highlight a washing machine's noise level. However, this is recorded in laboratory conditions, so it may sound louder in your house.
Do tumble dryers shrink clothes?
If used correctly, tumble dryers shouldn’t shrink your clothes. However, you should always check the garment’s care label for a tumble dry symbol. To prevent shrinking, dry similar items together and use the most appropriate setting for the fabric type. It’s also best to use lower temperatures and avoid over or under filling.
How dry do tumble dryers leave your clothes?

How much do tumble dryers cost to run?
The cost to dry one load varies, but it’s often around the 50p mark. This depends on energy efficiency, capacity, load size and the appliance's usage. Keeping the filter clean can also impact the model’s efficiency, as well as the type of dryer.
How much laundry can I put in a tumble dryer?
You should only fill your tumble dryer around half full. If you overfill your machine, your clothes won't dry properly and it can even cause damage
How quickly will my clothes be dry?
This depends on the model, drying programme and load type or size. Quick programmes help to dry your clothes in even less time.
What are the most energy efficient tumble dryers?
Heat pump tumble dryers re-circulate and re-use warm air, making them really energy efficient. Also, they cost around 50% less to run than conventional C-rated models.
What is the difference between a 'vented' dryer and a 'condenser' dryer?
Vented dryers need to be positioned near a window or wall vent, so the moisture can be released outside. Condenser dryers can be placed pretty much anywhere as they collect the moisture in a tank. Note this will need emptying manually.
What type of tumble dryer should I choose?
This depends on where you'll place your dryer, as well as your requirements and preferences.
Will my tumble dryer be noisy?
Tumble dryers noise levels vary, from as low as 40 dB up to around 80 dB. Some models are designed to be quieter, using features like anti-vibration technology and inverter motors.
How quickly do washer dryers have your clothes ready?
Just like washing machines and tumble dryers, washer dryers have a range of programmes to complete cycles in different times. However, your items may take longer to dry compared to a tumble dryer.
Should I buy a washer dryer, or a separate washing machine and tumble dryer?
If you have limited floor space and a smaller household, washer dryers are ideal. They can cost less than buying two appliances and prevent transferring laundry between the machines. However, separate machines often have larger capacities.
Why do washer dryers list two different capacities?
Washer dryers have different washing and drying capacities. This is because the drum should be around 80% full for washing, and around 50% full for drying.
What size washing machine/tumble dryer do I need?
Having the right capacity for your needs can save you time and money. Generally, the best way to decide what size you need is based on the size of your household: 5-6 kg, individual or couple, 7-8 kg, a household of three or four people and 9 kg+, a large family.
Which safety features should I look for?
Door locks stop the door opening during use, while overflow protection technologies cut off the water supply if a leak is detected. You should also look out for indicators, such as warning lights that show when filters need to be cleaned.
How can I save energy when using my washing machine?
Most models have Eco programmes and settings to minimise energy and water use, while some use Sensor technology to adjust water automatically based on the load.
How can I tell if my washing machine is overloaded?
If your drum is overloaded, clothes will hold together while rotating, which prevents detergent from spreading evenly. This will also cause your clothes to crease. You should only fill the drum 80% of the way to allow proper washing, but also avoid under-loading to reduce energy wastage.

How do I clean the pump filter on my washing machine?
If your clothes are still wet after the final spin, or if water isn't draining away, you may need to clean your pump filter. Follow your manufacturer’s manual to locate the filter, then unscrew it and remove any trapped hair and debris.
How do I descale my washing machine?
Put some citric acid in the machine and run a hot wash to help remove limescale.
Is there anything I should do if I need to move my washing machine?
You must disconnect the appliance from the plumbing and remove any residual water. Keep the drain hose attached and secure any parts, using anchor bolts to hold the drum in place, then protect the washer with blankets or padding. During transit, keep the appliance upright.
What happens if a wash is running and I forgot to put in an item?
Some models have functions which allow you to pause or stop a cycle to add forgotten items, e.g. Samsung’s AddWash Door.
What happens if my washing machine has a leak?
Some machines feature anti-flood protection, stopping the water supply if a leak is detected. If you do experience a leak, turn off your washing machine and disconnect it from the mains and water supply. Locate the leak and check that all parts are in good condition. It could be that your drain hoses need to be unclogged, or that the door isn't closed properly.
What temperature should I choose to wash my clothes?
This depends on the garment's fabric as well as your own preferences. Temperatures can range from as low as 30°C to a boilwash at 95°C. Thanks to today's improved detergents, colder washes are almost as effective as hotter washes.
Why does my washing machine smell unpleasant?
